Dr. Jim C. Chiang completed his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas in 2002 after completing an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Biology from Rice University, also in Houston. He served his family medicine residency at Northridge Hospital in Northridge, California. During his residency, Dr. Chiang was honored to serve a year as President of the UCLA-affiliated Northridge Family Medicine Residency Program.
Family Doctors of Boulder City was proud to welcome Dr. Chiang as its newest partner in August, 2005. His recent experience and education helps to keep our office current with the latest methods of healthcare. He is board certified and licensed to practice medicine in the state of Nevada.
Dr. Chiang maintains community involvement by serving as a volunteer physician for the Boulder City High School football team. He also served in this capacity previously for the Los Angeles Unified School District. His professional memberships include the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Nevada Academy of Family Practice. He maintains privileges at Boulder City Hospital and St. Rose Dominican Hospital, Rose de Lima Campus in Henderson.
In his spare time, Dr. Chiang enjoys traveling, reading, and sports. He is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese. Dr. Chiang enjoys seeing patients of all ages and is committed to top quality patient healthcare.
